Sat - May 4, '18 got up at 2 o'clock and move back to camp. still storming. on K.P. today and tomorrow as a sentence for going to sleep at the machine shop Last Monday. rather tired. Sun - May 5, '18 K.P. got up at 7:30 had breakfast at 9:30 dinner at 2:P.M. all thru with K.P. finish letter to B_ and mail it. read awhile & go to bed. |
Mon - May 6, '18 drill and exercise all morning. Gas lecture this afternoon, and measured for new shoes. read, and write to mother. Miss Barnes of Seattle came down with Mr. and Mrs Thompson and we went to the K of C. (1) dance. Tue - May 7, '18 drill awhile, then are ordered to barracks to get ready to pack out things, write to Berniece, then pack our roll get on the train. stay on the train a while and get off and come back and go to bed. glad in a way and sorry in a way. a few more lines to B_ and mail it. |
